During the coal mining process, underground water is generated from longwall face. In meantime, cutting process would produce particles. Coal slurry in working site, especially for abundant mines. The treated to prevent pollution. Due extensively existing of suspended solid, traditional method often introduce new problems. this study, laboratory testing was conducted investigate characteristics, including particle size distribution sludge, compositions, viscosity and mine quality. order improve treatment efficiency, based on results, a novel combined proposed. First, coarse grained by vibrating screening machine. Then, containing fine powders processed through settling pond. sedimentation results solid materials are analyzed. polymer flocculant also added into sedimentation. These treats significantly remove quality water. Based testing, specific details field applications designed. key novelty paper background. All these treatments environment capable being applied workings. From observations, site effective. This study provides treat slurry, which has innovations engineering aspect. procedures useful treatment, water-abundant normal production guaranteed less affected discharge process. Meanwhile, pollution problem much addressed damage reduced.
