چکیده
Abstract. The current improvements in aerosol mass spectrometers resolution and sensitivity, the analytical tools for spectra deconvolution, have enabled in-depth analysis of ambient organic (OA) properties. Although OA constitutes a major fraction aerosol, its properties are determined to great extent by mixing characteristics both inorganic components aerosol. This work applies new methodology year-long ACSM dataset assess sources total non-refractory species Athens background provides insights into interactions between species. use innovative applying positive matrix factorization (PMF, rolling window) enables study temporal variability contribution these seasonal changes their composition. were obtained time-of-flight spectrometer (ToF-ACSM) PMF analysis. results revealed five factors when was analysed separately. Three them primary factors: hydrocarbon-like (HOA), cooking-related (COA) biomass burning (BBOA). remaining two secondary, less more oxidized oxygenated (LO-OOA MO-OOA respectively). relative contributions HOA 15 %, COA 18 BBOA 9 34 % LO-OOA 24 (yearly averaged). When combined analysed, additional identified that mainly composed ammonium sulfate (83.5 %) nitrate (73 %). Moreover, secondary resolved, containing organics inorganics named (MOA) (LOA). on yearly average 7 3 28 MOA LOA 26 %.

A hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite dataset
Hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) have been attracting a great deal of attention due to their versatility of electronic properties and fabrication methods. We prepare a dataset of 1,346 HOIPs, which features 16 organic cations, 3 group-IV cations and 4 halide anions. Using a combination of an atomic structure search method and density functional theory calculations, the optimized str...
متن کاملSource apportionment of fine organic aerosols in Beijing
Fine particles (PM2.5, i.e., particles with an aerodynamic diameter of ≤2.5μm) were collected from the air in August 2005, August–September 2006, and January– February 2007, in Beijing, China. The chemical compositions of particulate organic matter in the ambient samples were quantified by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The dominant compounds identified in summertime were n-alkanoic acid...
متن کاملSource apportionment modeling of volatile organic compounds in streams.
It often is of interest to understand the relative importance of the different sources contributing to the concentration c(w) of a contaminant in a stream; the portions related to sources 1, 2, 3, etc. are denoted c(w,1), c(w2), c(w3), etc. Like c(w), the fractions alpha1 = c(w,1)/c(w), alpha2 = c(w,2)/c(w), alpha3 = c(w,3)/c(w), etc. depend on location and time. Volatile organic compounds (VOC...
متن کاملSource Apportionment Of High Reactive Volatile Organic Compounds In a Region With The Massive Hydrocarbon Processing Industries
In the Persian Gulf region, conditions are highly favorable for ozone air pollution and the region is a hot spot of photochemical smog. The vast activities in processing oil and gas play a major role in it. It was found that the elevated concentrations of reactive hydrocarbons co-emitted with nitrogen oxides from Hydrocarbon Processing facilities lead to substantial ozone production. South Pars...
