Combined Exponential-Type Estimators for Finite Population Mean in Two-Phase Sampling

چکیده

A family of exponential-type estimator for estimating population mean in two-phase sampling when the proportion auxiliary character is available proposed this paper. Theoretically, bias and minimum square error (MSE) are obtained. The expression MSE compared with existing estimators literature. optimum values parameters determined. An empirical study was carried out by comparing some reviewed literature based on criteria bias, relative efficiency using life datasets. result comparisons showed that produce a better estimate finite than sense having higher percentage which implies lesser bias. Furthermore, realistic conditions under class more efficient were also presented. Thus, can be considered as significant alternatives to characteristics real
