چکیده

Previous studies have suggested that infant rapid weight change can be associated with an increased later in life. However, the trajectory early life over time and which childhood lifestyle behaviors may modify risk of not been characterized. Using our ongoing birth cohort study, we addressed these issues. Nine follow-up points (birth, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48 months) were used to calculate between two adjacent weight-for-age z-scores (WAZ-change), then WAZ-change trajectories defined via group-based modeling. The solitary, independent combined effects each factor (eating behaviors, physical activity, media exposure total sleep duration) on adiposity measures at age 4 years determined using multivariate regression analysis. Overall, 84 (38%) children had a steady growth from years, while other 137 (62%) infancy trajectory, particularly first three months. Compared growth, significantly higher body mass index, waist circumference, subcutaneous fat. Moreover, eating (i.e. food responsiveness, satiety responsiveness fussiness), only effects, but also (synergistic) majority measures. Our results extend current literature provide potentially valuable model aid clinicians health professionals designing early-life interventions targeting specific populations, ages prevent overweight/obesity.
