چکیده
Introduction Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative pathology that develops mainly in elderly and senile people. Objectives The aim of the study was comparative analysis results neuropsychological tests with indicators oral fluid buccal epithelium cytograms patients disease. Methods In main group 12 disease, m=76.25±4.89. There were cognitively healthy people control group. average MMSE score among observations 13.42±3.63. ADAS-COG scale used to detail impaired cognitive functions. concomitant compensated. content BDNF, TNF-α, IL1RA, IL-6, IL-8 determined blood serum. concentration salivary serum biomarkers by multiparametric fluorescence magnetic microspheres. Micronuclei, karyopycnosis, karyorexis, karyolysis cellular structures epithelium. material for cytological examination collected from inner surface cheek. Results When analyzing cytograms, attention drawn pronounced increase number cells micronuclei AD 1.8%; group, median 0.1% (p<0.05). A direct correlation established between binuclear level BDNF (r=0.646; p=0.03) AD. It also important note had significant immediate memory, correlates parameter naming objects. Conclusions Correlations amnesia, speech disorders, praxis, gnosis epithelium, especially severity karyopycnosis have been established, indicating process pathogenetically associated processes systemic inflammation degeneration Disclosure Interest None Declared

Molecular diagnostics of neurodegenerative disorders
Molecular diagnostics provide a powerful method to detect and diagnose various neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. The confirmation of such diagnosis allows early detection and subsequent medical counseling that help specific patients to undergo clinically important drug trials. This provides a medical pathway to have better insight of neurogenesis and eventual cu...
متن کاملAdvances in Diagnostics for Neurodegenerative Disorders
In this chapter, the established investigative techniques for aiding diagnosis in neurodegenerative disease are reviewed. Beginning with neuropsychological analysis, this review ranges though structural (anatomic), dynamic, and functional brain imaging using MRI and radio-nucleotide scanning to complex neurophysiological applications. In each section, the increasing likelihood of developing tru...

متن کاملClinical Applications: Neurodegenerative Disorders and MS
Parkinson's disease (PD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD) are the two most common neurodegenerative disorders. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common demyelinating disorder. Although there are strong inflammatory components to multiple sclerosis, it is clear that the disease also has a strong neurodegenerative component. Combined these three disease processes affect more than 6 million American...
متن کاملThe Clinical and Health Economic Value of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics
The ultimate goal of diagnostic testing is to guide disease management in order to improve patient outcomes and patient well-being. Patient populations are rarely homogenous and accurate diagnostic tests can dissect the patient population and identify those patients with similar symptoms but very different underlying pathophysiology that will respond differently to different treatments. This st...
