Color tuneability behaviour and energy transfer analysis on Dy3+-Eu3+ co-doped glasses for NUV-WLEDs application

Abstract A series of Dy 3+ and Eu co-doped zinc aluminoborosilicate (ZABS) glasses were synthesized by a high-temperature melt-quenching method. Visible NIR transitions - ions are observed through absorption spectra. reverse trend in the optical band gap values Urbach energy seen with addition ions. Photoluminescence studies recorded under different excitation wavelengths showed variation emission intensities prevailed color tuneability behaviour dopants. The transfer between studied profiles, level diagram, decay curves. type multipolar interaction understood via Inokuti Hirayama (IH) model Dexter model. CIE chromaticity coordinates, correlated temperature (CCT) suggest that prepared can be used for light emitting diode application when excited at near ultraviolet region.
