CODE MIXING FOUND IN THE OFFICIAL TWITTER OF BKN (INDONESIA NATIONAL CIVIL SERVICE AGENCY)

This research aims to investigate the types and factors of code mixing which found in official twitter account BKN (Indonesia National Civil Service Agency) during registration civil servant’s candidate November 2019. Qualitative approach was conducted analyze social mixing. Observation method with writing technique used collect data. Data reduction, data display drawing conclusion are process analysis technique. To classify explain mixing, Musyken’s typology (2000) Kim’s theory reasons motive (2006) were used. From finding, there that three such as insertion, alternation congruent lexicalization. Insertion type dominated BKN’s status, followed by lexicalization last is alternation. Most status related particular topic about computer technical support, online system, requirements servant candidates. However, other code-mixing factors; participant roles relationships internal (quotation).
