Co?curation: Archival interventions and voluntary sector records

There is a growing trend across the social sciences to engage with archives. Within human geography, this has stimulated debate about nature of archives, including moving from considering "archive as source" subject." We build on and extend thinking, suggesting that an even more active appreciation dynamic relationships between researchers, owners records, archival material needed. This paper draws interdisciplinary study voluntary action welfare provision in England 1940s 2010s highlight how different iterative processes involved collaborative research are part what we call co-curation. Co-curation involves negotiated identification, selection, preparation, interpretation materials. implications for both outcomes.
