چکیده
A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of biochar (BC), fulvic acid (FA) and Bacillus subtilis (BS) on soil properties crop growth in coastal salt-affected soil. Four levels BC (0, 7.5, 15, 30 t ha−1), two FA 1.5 ha−1) BS suspension 108 CFU mL−1) were designed during maize cultivation. The results showed that ha−1 treatment most beneficial for improving qualities. grain yields treatments containing lower than treatments, they CK treatment. 15 + obtained highest yield, which 1.75 times more CK. An antagonism effect combination induced a yield decrease, higher content application alleviated negative effects.

Microbial amelioration of crop salinity stress.
The use of soil and irrigation water with a high content of soluble salts is a major limiting factor for crop productivity in the semi-arid areas of the world. While important physiological insights about the mechanisms of salt tolerance in plants have been gained, the transfer of such knowledge into crop improvement has been limited. The identification and exploitation of soil microorganisms (...
متن کاملDigital Mapping of Soil Salinity and Crop Yield across a Coastal Agricultural Landscape Using Repeated Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) Surveys
Reliable and real-time information on soil and crop properties is important for the development of management practices in accordance with the requirements of a specific soil and crop within individual field units. This is particularly the case in salt-affected agricultural landscape where managing the spatial variability of soil salinity is essential to minimize salinization and maximize crop ...
متن کاملEffect of Marginal Quality Groundwater on Yield of Cotton Crop and Soil Salinity Status
Abstract—In this paper, effect of marginal quality groundwater on yield of cotton crop and soil salinity was studied. In this connection, three irrigation treatments each with four replications were applied. These treatments were i) use of canal water (T1), ii) use of marginal quality groundwater from tubewell (T2), and iii) conjunctive use by mixing with the ratio of 1:1 of canal water and mar...

Aerospace provides a special environment with strong cosmic radiation, microgravity, weak geomagnetic field and supervacuum, etc., which might affect plant growth and development as well as induce genetic changes of crop seeds. Since 1987, China has been conducting experiments of space mutagenesis for crop improvement by using recoverable satellites and Shenzhou spacecrafts. Shijian-8, the firs...
متن کاملImprovement of Crop Yield, Soil Moisture Distribution and Water Use Efficiency in Sandy Soils by Clay Application
Cultivating sandy soil is a promising solution to overcome the fight against hunger especially in the developing countries. The main problems of sandy soil are moisture holding capacity and nutrients deficiency. A containers experiment was carried out to study the enhancement of water productivity and crop yield of sandy soils treated with clay. The container size was 31 x 15 x 60 cm with one t...
