چکیده

CO(2-1) emission is often used as a tracer of the giant molecular clouds (GMCs) an alternative to CO(1-0) in recent years. Therefore, understanding environmental dependence line ratio CO(2-1)/CO(1-0), $R_{21}$, on GMC scale important accurately estimate mass GMCs. We thus measured $R_{21}$ strongly barred galaxy NGC1300, where star formation activity depends galactic structure, $\sim 100$ pc scale. CO images were obtained from ALMA and Nobeyama 45-m telescope. The resultant typical NGC1300 $0.57 \pm 0.06$. find variations $R_{21}$; it highest bar-end region ($0.72 0.08$), followed by arm ($0.60 0.07$) bar regions ($0.50 0.06$). GMCs with H$\alpha$ show systematically higher ($0.67 than those without ($0.47 0.05$). In region, massive suppressed, not associated most GMCs, resulting lowest $R_{21}$. These results raise possibility that properties derived observations assumption constant are different observations. Furthermore, we kpc tends be lower probably due presence extended diffuse gas NGC1300.

The velocity field of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 1300 revisited ?

The re-reduction, described in Jörsäter & van Moorsel (1995), of NGC 1300 VLA H i observations, originally obtained by M. England, motivates a new analysis of the velocity field and rotation curve. Fitting tilted ring models to the H i velocity data, we find the new values for the orientation parameters of NGC 1300 to be PAlon = 267◦ ± 2◦ and i = 35◦ ± 5◦. Subsequently, the H i rotation curve i...

A counterrotating central component in the barred galaxy NGC 5728

We present a detailed study of the stellar kinematics in the barred galaxy NGC 5728 based on I-band photometry and long-slit spectroscopic observations in the region of the near-IR Ca II triplet. The analysis of the stellar line-of-sight velocity distribution (LOSVD) has revealed, in the central regions of the bar, the presence of a cold (v/σ ∼2.5) prograde S-shaped velocity component that coex...

A Parsec Scale Accelerating Radio Jet in the Giant Radio Galaxy NGC 315

Observations of the core of the giant radio galaxy NGC315 made with VLBI interferometers are discussed in the context of a relativistic jet. The sidedness asymmetry suggests Doppler favoritism from a relativistic jet. The presence of moving features in the jet as well as jet counter–jet brightness ratios hint at an accelerating, relativistic jet. An increasing jet velocity is also supported by ...

The Mass Inflow Rate in the Barred Galaxy NGC 1530

Mass inflow in barred galaxies has been invoked to account for a wide variety of phenomena, but until now direct evidence for inflow has been lacking. We present Fabry-Perot Hα observations of the barred spiral galaxy NGC 1530 from which we determine velocities of the ionized gas for the entire region swept by the bar. We compare the velocity field to models of gas flow in barred spirals and sh...

Cold dust in the giant barred galaxy NGC 1365

Constraining the physcial properties of dust requires observations at submm wavelengths. This will provide important insight into the gas content of galaxies. We mapped NGC 1365 at 870 μm with LABOCA, the Large APEX Bolometer Camera, allowing us to probe the central mass concentration as well as the rate at which the gas flows to the center. We obtained the dust physical properties both globall...
