چکیده

Chemical doping of ceramic oxides may provide a possible route for realizing high-efficient oxygen transport membranes. Herein, we present study the previously unreported dual-phase mixed-conducting oxygen-permeable membranes with compositions 60 wt.% Ce0.85Pr0.1M0.05O2-δ-40 wt.%Pr0.6Sr0.4Fe0.8Al0.2O3-δ (M = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) (CPM-PSFA) adding sintering aids, which is expected to not only improve electronic conductivity fluorite phase, but also reduce temperature and properties X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) results indicate that CPM-PSFA contain perovskite two phases, implying they are successfully prepared modified Pechini method. Backscattered scanning electron microscopy (BSEM) further confirm phases evenly distributed, very dense after at 1275 °C 5 h, much lower than (1450 °C, h) composite wt.%Ce0.9Pr0.1O2-δ-40 (CP-PSFA) without aids. The permeability test demonstrate permeation flux through CPCu-PSFA CPCo-PSFA higher undoped CP-PSFA can maintain stable long time under pure CO2 operation condition. Our imply these high stability potential candidates application in separation, solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), oxy-fuel combustion based on carbon dioxide capture.

Biophysics Oxygen permeability of phosphatidylcholine - cholesterol membranes ( pulse ESR / permeability coefficient / oxygen transport ) WITOLD

Oxygen transport in phosphatidylcholinecholesterol membranes has been studied by observing the collision of molecular oxygen with nitroxide radical spin labels placed at various distances from the membrane surface using long-pulse saturation recovery ESR techniques. The collision rate was estimated for tempocholine phosphatidic acid ester, 5-doxylstearic acid, and 16-doxylstearic acid from spin...

CO2-tolerant mixed-conducting multichannel hollow fiber membrane for efficient oxygen separation

A mixed-conducting multichannel hollow fiber membrane (MCMHF) based on CO2-tolerant SrFe0.8Nb0.2O3–δ (SFN) oxide has been successfully prepared by phase inversion and sintering technique. The morphology, breaking load, oxygen permeability under CO2 atmosphere, thermal cycling performance and the long-term stability of the membrane were investigated in detail. The prepared membrane has a signifi...

A novel CO2-stable dual phase membrane with high oxygen permeability.

By cobalt-doping of the mixed conducting phase PSFC, a good combination of high CO2 stability and high oxygen permeability is obtained for the 60 wt% Ce(0.9)Pr(0.1)O(2-δ)-40 wt% Pr(0.6)Sr(0.4)Fe(0.5)Co(0.5)O(3-δ) (CP-PSFC) dual phase membrane, which suggests that CP-PSFC is a promising membrane for industrial applications in the oxyfuel process for CO2 capture.
