Co-precipitation synthesis and electrochemical properties of NASICON-type Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 solid electrolytes

NASICON-type solid electrolytes have gathered wide attention to meet the requirements of high energy density Li-metal batteries. In this study, Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 (LATP) were synthesized through co-precipitation method. The composition, phase transformation, microstructure, and particle size LATP powder characterized in detail. Pure can be obtained at 800 °C with primary ~ 590 nm. addition, ionic conductivities pellets increased first then decreased sintering temperature time. Owing highest relative (95.6%), (sintered 900 for 6 h, LATP-9006) exhibited a total conductivity 2.19 × 10−4 S/cm low activation 0.32 eV. results suggest that LATP-9006 ceramic electrolyte could promising alternative toward achieving safe solid-state battery. Moreover, method is suitable preparation other oxide electrolytes.
