Methods: This paper reports mixed-methods case study. Findings: In study, there was intervention started off nudge, using randomised controlled trial. The nudge then evolved into bottom-up initiative with input aided by design lab approach. Discussion conclusion: One address tensions between approaches let messiness loss direct control implied lab, whereby pluses evolve naturally without expert direction. success eventual points design-based plus interventions. متن کاملNudge for (the Public) Good: How Defaults Can Affect Cooperation
In this paper we test the effect of non-binding defaults on the level of contribution to a public good. We manipulate the default numbers appearing on the decision screen to nudge subjects toward a free-rider strategy or a perfect conditional cooperator strategy. Our results show that the vast majority of our subjects did not adopt the default numbers, but their stated strategy was affected by ...
متن کاملHow to be proactive about interference: lessons from animal memory.
Processes of proactive interference were explored using the pigeon as a model system of memory. This study shows that proactive interference extends back in time at least 16 trials (and as many minutes), revealing a continuum of interference and providing a framework for studying memory. Pigeons were tested in a delayed same/different task containing trial-unique pictures. On interference trial...

There are available a number of mobile shopping aids and recommender systems, but none of which can be easily used for a weekly shop at a local supermarket. We present a minimalistic, mobile and fully functional lambent display that clips onto any shopping trolley, intended to nudge people when choosing what to buy. It provided salient information about the food-miles for various food items rep...
