Co-Design and Co-Manufacturing: A Multidisciplinary Approach through Small-Scale Architectural Experiences in Barcelona

This article aims to explore the potential and limitations of participatory design co-manufacturing processes, taking city Barcelona as a reference. It is characterized by an aging building stock, tourist pressure, difficulties for citizens in accessing affordable housing. In this sense, selection six cases co-design presented, range small-scale interventions that were shared discussed “Debate sessions. Co-Design Co-Fabrication Architecture” within Co-Hab-Raval project, which motivated research. Thanks these case studies, it has been possible analyse wide intervention practices.
