Clinical Practice Guidelines for Diabetes recommend that overweight or obese adults lose more than 5% of their body weight and reduce total caloric intake to maintain the reduced weight. In diabetic patients, goal control is not simply weight, but achieve health benefits by controlling blood sugar well reducing risk complications other comorbidities. An extremely calorie-restricted diet, whose long-term effectiveness has been verified, recommended as it may increase hypoglycemia ketoacidosis. For in important follow diet guidelines while setting actionable energy goals prevent do risks. The target should be adjusted consideration individual conditions such daily intake, size, activity level.
