چکیده
Objective. To study the content of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tropomyosin receptor type B kinase (TrkB) in patients at an early stage diabetic polyneuropathy. Late diagnosis polyneuropathy (DPN) is largely due to presence a subclinical stage, which damage nervous system develops absence complaints from patient.
Materials methods. 64 with 2 diabetes mellitus 11 persons control group were examined assessment pain status degree peripheral neuropathy using PainDetect, TSS, NSS, NDS scales. Disturbance nerve conduction along nerves lower extremities was studied electroneuromyography (ENMG). The quantitative BDNF TrkB serum carried out enzyme immunoassay.
Results. increased concentrations (p = 0.001) 0.007) found development clinically evident DPN as compared without DPN. In DPN, there established statistically significant increase expression (2.97 [2.44; 3.37] ng/ml comparison values both 0.022) 0.017). mean level this 4.29 [3.48; 5.62] ng/ml, that also higher than corresponding for 0.032) 0.025). correlates duration (R 0.524; p 0.02), intensity neuropathic 0.402; 0.001), axonal according ENMG data -0.242; 0.03). Correlations between severity course 0.482; 0.01), 0.383; impaired 0.359; 0.003) found.
Conclusions. elevated occur initial fibers correlate compensation carbohydrate metabolism, neural disorders. obtained allow us consider levels markers

Diabetic Polyneuropathy: Definitive Diagnosis
DPN can present with a wide range of symptoms, including pain, unsteadiness, weakness, postural hypotension, gastroparesis, and impotence. It can lead to foot ulceration, Charcot foot, and amputation. It is desirable to periodically assess for the presence of neuropathy and also stratify neuropathy in patients in anticipation of these problems. It is important to be aware of the strengths and l...

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the discriminative power of the Diabetic Neuropathy Symptom (DNS) and Diabetic Neuropathy Examination (DNE) scores for diagnosing diabetic polyneuropathy (PNP), as well as their relation with cardiovascular autonomic function testing (cAFT) and electro-diagnostic studies (EDS). RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Three groups (matched for age and sex) were selected: 24 diabetic ...

Diabetic polyneuropathy is a specific form of peripheral nerve disorder, in which distal nerve axons degenerate insidiously under hyperglycemia of diabetes mellitus. Although all types of peripheral nerve fibers are involved, it is usually sensory dominant with eventual involvement of autonomic and motor nerve fibers. Its manifestation ranges from subclinical changes in nerve conduction to pain...
