چکیده

Zarrineh River is located in the northwest of Iran, providing more than 40% total inflow into Lake Urmia that one largest saltwater lakes on earth. a highly endangered ecosystem brink desiccation. This paper studied impacts climate change streamflow River. The was simulated and projected for period 1992–2050 through seven CMIP5 (coupled model intercomparison project phase 5) data series (namely, BCC-CSM1-1, BNU-ESM, CSIRO-Mk3-6-0, GFDL-ESM2G, IPSL-CM5A-LR, MIROC-ESM MIROC-ESM-CHEM) under RCP2.6 (RCP, representative concentration pathways) RCP8.5. were statistically downscaled bias corrected using an artificial neural network (ANN) technique Gamma based quantile mapping correction method. best (CSIRO-Mk3-6-0) chosen by TOPSIS (technique order preference similarity to ideal solution) method from models statistical indices. For simulation streamflow, rainfall-runoff model, hydrologiska byrans vattenavdelning (HBV-Light) utilized. Investigation of climate change impacts on streamflow regime of a river Arazkooseh River Basin

In this research, impacts of climate change on the streamflow hydrological status of the Arazkooseh River are discussed. After Calibration and validation of the LARS-WG, HadCM3 was downscaled under A2 Scenario in three climatology station. Beside, calibration and validation of the SWAT model were done by observed data relative to past period of times. Streamflow values are then predicted using ...

Climate Change Impacts on Streamflow and Subbasin-Scale Hydrology in the Upper Colorado River Basin

In the Upper Colorado River Basin (UCRB), the principal source of water in the southwestern U.S., demand exceeds supply in most years, and will likely continue to rise. While General Circulation Models (GCMs) project surface temperature warming by 3.5 to 5.6°C for the area, precipitation projections are variable, with no wetter or drier consensus. We assess the impacts of projected 21(st) centu...

Comparing impacts of climate change on streamflow in four large African river basins

This study aims to compare impacts of climate change on streamflow in four large representative African river basins: the Niger, the Upper Blue Nile, the Oubangui and the Limpopo. We set up the eco-hydrological model SWIM (Soil and Water Integrated Model) for all four basins individually. The validation of the models for four basins shows results from adequate to very good, depending on the qua...

Impacts of climate change on streamflow in the Upper Mississippi River Basin: A regional climate model perspective

[1] Impact of climate change on streamflow in the Upper Mississippi River Basin is evaluated by use of a regional climate model (RCM) coupled with a hydrologic model, Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). The RCM we used resolves, at least partially, some fine-scale dynamical processes that are important contributors to precipitation in this region and that are not well simulated by global mod...
