چکیده

Climate change (CC) is likely to have a negative effect on water balance components thereby increasing global scarcity. These effects, particularly in arid and semi-arid areas, not been fully understood, part because green was adequately represented the relevant assessments. This study analyzes spatiotemporal variations of blue resources under baseline future climate conditions by applying Soil Water Assessment Tool plus (SWAT+) model Meki River, located Central Rift Valley (CRV) Lake Basins Ethiopia. Based sensitive parameters, identified from sensitivity analysis, we calibrated validated SWAT + for period 1993 2000 1987 1992, respectively. During both calibration validation period, showed reasonable performance with Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency greater than 0.65. The then used assess effects CC (representative concentrations pathways, RCP, 4.5 8.5) River. We found that expected decrease RCPs (4.5 scenarios, but anticipated show more decline up 56% RCP 8.5 scenario. Oppositely, increase RCP8.5 projected cause larger (24%) when compared baseline. Overall, integrated modeling assessment can be as tool develop efficient strategies management

Investigation of climate change impacts on streamflow regime of a river Arazkooseh River Basin

In this research, impacts of climate change on the streamflow hydrological status of the Arazkooseh River are discussed. After Calibration and validation of the LARS-WG, HadCM3 was downscaled under A2 Scenario in three climatology station. Beside, calibration and validation of the SWAT model were done by observed data relative to past period of times. Streamflow values are then predicted using ...

Potential Impacts of Climate Change on Water Resources in the Kunhar River Basin, Pakistan

Pakistan is one of the most highly water-stressed countries in the world and its water resources are greatly vulnerable to changing climatic conditions. The present study investigates the possible impacts of climate change on the water resources of the Kunhar River basin, Pakistan, under A2 and B2 scenarios of HadCM3, a global climate model. After successful development of the hydrological mode...

Assessing Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources in the Songhua River Basin

The Songhua River Basin (SRB) in Northeast China is one of the areas most sensitive to global climate change because of its high-latitude location. In this study, we conducted a modeling assessment on the potential change of water resources in this region for the coming three decades using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). First, we calibrated and validated the model with historical st...

Analyzing Climate Zooning and Climate Change Effects on Discharge of Jajrood River Basin

In this study, for climate zoning and determining the effects of climate change on discharge of Jajrood River Basin, data from 9 available stations in Jajrood River Basin were used. In order to create climatic zones in the Jajrood River Basin, multivariate cluster analysis was used. To validate the data, discriminant analysis was employed. For investigating the effects of temperature and precip...
