The clearance of the buckling-restrained brace is a factor that has significant influence on its failure mode and mechanical behavior. In this study, adjustment construction for using steel mortar planks improved. Further, partially pasting fluororesin sheets or butyl rubbers to core plate spacers proposed. requirements workability, cost performance, reliability fabrication, structural performance safety examined. Finally, based comprehensive evaluation, it verified practicality proposed construction.
