Clean Energy Action Index Efficiency: An Analysis in Global Uncertainty Contexts

Climate change, the scarcity of fossil fuels, advances in clean energy, and volatility crude oil prices have led to recognition energy as a viable alternative dirty energy. This paper investigates multifractal scaling behavior efficiency green finance markets, well traditional markets such gold, oil, natural gas between 1 January 2018, 9 March 2023. To test serial dependency (autocorrelation) efficient market hypothesis, its weak form, we employed Lo Mackinlay DFA method. The empirical findings showed that returns data series exhibit signs (in)efficiency. Additionally, there is negative autocorrelation among market, Clean Energy Fuels Index, Global gold market. Arbitration strategies can be used obtain abnormal returns, but caution should exercised may increase above their actual value reduce profitability trading. work contributes body knowledge on sustainable by teaching investors how use predictive future values investments.
