Levi nondegenerate real-analytic hypersurfaces M ⊂ are well understood due to the seminal results of Tanaka [17] and Chern-Moser[5], where a complete set of local invariants for M has been defined. At the other extreme are those hypersurfaces which are locally CR-equivalent to a product M ×, (take the real hyperplanes in as a simple example). In-between there is a huge and much less underst...

In this paper we present new examples of homogeneous 2-nondegenerate CRmanifolds of dimension 5 and give, up to local CR-equivalence, a full classification of all CR-manifolds of this type.
متن کاملEmbedding of Pseudoconvex Cr Manifolds of Levi-forms with One Degenerate Eigenvalue
Suppose that M is an abstract smoothly bounded orientable CR manifold of dimension 2n − 1 with a given integrable CR structure S of dimension n− 1. Since M is orientable, there are a smooth real nonvanishing 1-form η and a smooth real vector field X0 on M so that η(X) = 0 for all X ∈ S and η(X0) = 1. We define the Levi form of S on M by iη([X ′, X ′′]), X ′, X ′′ ∈ S. We may assume that M ⊂ M̃ ,...
متن کاملRegularity of Cr-mappings into Levi-degenerate Hypersurfaces
We provide regularity results for CR-maps between real hypersurfaces in complex spaces of different dimension with a Levi-degenerate target. We address both the real-analytic and the smooth case. Our results allow immediate applications to the study of proper holomorphic maps between Bounded Symmetric Domains. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 32H40 Secondary 32H35 32V10
متن کاملCR-manifolds of dimension 5: A Lie algebra approach
We study real-analytic Levi degenerate hypersurfaces M in complex manifolds of dimension 3, for which the CR-automorphism group Aut(M) is a real Lie group acting transitively on M . We provide large classes of examples for such M , compute the corresponding groups Aut(M) and determine the maximal subsets of M that cannot be separated by global continuous CR-functions. It turns out that all our ...
