Abstract The aim of the research and investigation methodology was based on an expert survey, using questionnaires translated into German, English, French, Spanish Portuguese languages. experts, interviewed in this study as part international community, represent institutions or organizations, that are involved educational policy university teaching contexts with topics content well implementation ESD. answers experts provide a different wide range variations assessments UN Decade its characteristics democratic potential support. This shows influences can always be assessed much more positively through sustainable development than actual changes, particularly reference to good governance, basic human rights, protection minorities, civil society participation separation powers rule law.
