Scrap dealers mills, the main business units this system, often encounter opposing financial sustainability incentives using scrap as feedstock because regular sorting scrap-preparation infrastructure cannot deal with increasing complexity of scrap. Mismatches between inputs target composition recycled result trade-offs that favor economics at expense resource efficiency. By examining literature interviewing several actors, different characteristics were identified dimensions quality.
