This paper presents a new, robust and very efficient metaheuristic optimization algorithm, called Circle Inspired Optimization Algorithm (CIOA), for solving constrained unconstrained engineering problems. The inspiration the proposed algorithm consists of well-known formulations trigonometric circle.
