Cine-MRI Simulation to Evaluate Tumor Tracking

Conventional evaluations of tumor tracking algorithms require inter-observer segmentations from radiation oncologists on the Cine-MRI (2D sagittal MR video). Instead performing intensive manual annotations images, we present a 2D video simulator that uses pre-treatment including breathing model, generates Cine-MR images in parallel with underlined segmentation tumor. We include data seven patients within retrospective clinical study received stereotactic body therapy for liver metastases. Each patient has 4DCT scan, 3D and delineations, treatment Cine-MRI. augment by changing motion parameters adding noise. The total 84 sequences, thus having 12 videos per patient. validate simulated versus real terms motion. Finally, used to evaluate performance real-time this dataset.
