CHRONIC VULVAL SYMPTOMS: COMPARISON OF VARIOUS DIAGNOSTIC METHODS

The aim of our study was to compare the various diagnostic modalities for evaluation chronic vulval symptoms. We studied 100 women presenting with symptoms who underwent examination vulva low magnification, scrape cytology, colposcopy & directed biopsy. overall sensitivity and specificity detecting vulvar lesions 29.87% 100% magnification 58.44% 13.04% cytology 77.92 % 17.39 colposcopy. concluded that clinical or without can detect most neoplastic lesions. Colposcopy have high negative predictive value provide reassurance in absence disease.
