FMCW radar is a popular technique for sensors. A Direct Digital Synthesiser (DDS) commonly used to generate the required linear frequency sweep. DDS devices are widely-available and easy configure in terms of key parameters sweep bandwidth pulse duration. They step-approximation which increment parameter also needs be defined. However, there little information available literature guide designers on choice this parameter. As result, most designs based an empirical estimate increment.
