Chirality-controlled enantiopure crystal growth of a transition metal monosilicide by a floating zone method

چکیده
We performed a crystal growth to obtain chirality-controlled enantiopure crystals using laser-diode-heated floating zone (LDFZ) method with composition-gradient feed rod. It has been argued that the handedness of $T$Si ($T$ : transition metal) is fixed depending on $T$ in case ones grown by conventional methods. found right-handed single CoSi and MnSi were from composition gradient rods consist FeSi--CoSi FeSi--MnSi, respectively. The obtained inherit chirality seed part FeSi, which grows structure, thus have opposite for literature. LDFZ various combinations compounds enables flexible control will be useful clarifying interplay between crystalline chirality-induced physical responses.
