Abstract Chinweizu’s wide-ranging and copious intellectual output persistently brings into sharp focus penetrating analysis of Asia’s contemporary rise (read in Chinweizuan terms as autonomous modernization industrialization) juxtaposition to Africa’s de-industrialization with it her firm rootedness at the periphery global power. “Africa’s Staticity-Asia’s Rise” is a binary that bothers Chinweizu no end. In two key works presented Accra Abuja respectively (Chinweizu, 2010a; 2010b) he tries find answers. The papers throw up my view, few strategic questions : i. how should Africa relate rising Asia times? ii. What will take real for Black Superpower emerge if Asian example compelling one? iii. Is industrialization an existential necessity Africa? iv. kind political, economic social structures are required command respect world like Japan, Korea or China? This article critically engage these order attempt respond hope aid sharpening theoretical underpinnings practical processes building Superpower.
