چکیده

Alternanthera philoxeroides is a notorious invasive weed worldwide, but it still lacks genome information currently. In this study, we collected 4 groups of A. Illumina RNA-seq data (62.5 Gb) and performed comprehensive de novo assembling. Totally, 421,372 unigenes were obtained with total length 230,842,460 bp, 43,430 (10.31%) longer than 1000 bp. Then 119,222 (28.3%) functional annotated 235,885 (56.0%) grouped into reliable lncRNAs reservoir. Besides, 534 tRNA 234 rRNAs identified in assembly sequences. Additionally, 131,624 microsatellites characterized 106,761 SSR primers developed for the amplification 40,752 36,329 The miRNAs are key post-transcriptional regulators, about 86 candidate miRNA sequences detected from assembly, target genes prediction revealed possible functions them growth development as well stress responding processes. These results provide vital basis sequence-based studies future, especially gene function analysis.

P87: The Role of the Long Non-Coding RNA Sequences (LncRNAs) in Neurological Disorders

Precise interpretation of the transcriptome sequences in the several species showed that the major part of genome has been transcribed; however, just a few amounts of the transcription sequences have open-reading frames which are conversed during the evolution. So, it is unlikely that many of the transcribed sequences code the proteins. Among the all human non-coding transcripts, at least 10000...

Invasion of alligator weed (Alternanthera philoxeroides) in Wular Lake, Kashmir, India

Alligator weed Alternanthera philoxeroides (Mart.) Griseb (Amaranthaceae) is being reported for the first time from Kashmir, India. Alternanthera philoxeroides was collected in 2008 during the vegetation survey of Wular Lake, a wetland of international importance under Ramsar convention. Alternanthera philoxeroides is a noxious invasive weed widespread throughout the world. We suggested that al...

SOX2OT, a long non-coding RNA involved in autophagy regulation

Summary: SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) is a long non-coding RNA associated with cancer pathogenesis. It contributes to a variety of cellular functions and recent evidence propounds its association with autophagy process. It has been showed that SOX2OT can regulate the expression of different autophagy associated factors in human cells with different mechanisms, however more remains to ...

Management of aquatic alligator weed (Alternanthera philoxeroides) in an early stage of invasion

Alligator weed Alternanthera philoxeroides (Mart.) Griseb. is an amphibious plant that aggressively invades aquatic and terrestrial environments. It has invaded at least 14 countries and is difficult to control. The present study investigates the effectiveness of herbicides and physical removal in eliminating patches of aquatic alligator weed in an early stage of invasion. This paper firstly de...

Evaluating the clinical importance of long-non coding RNA MALAT1 expression in breast cancer

Background: Breast cancer is one of the major causes of illness and mortality among women. Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) have important role in tumor development and progression. Metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1 (MALAT1) is a lncRNA that deregulates in several cancers, however, its value in the diagnosis of breast cancer is unclear. This study was conducted to investigate...
