Characterization of Unpleasant Odors in Poultry Houses Using Metal Oxide Semiconductor-Based Gas Sensor Arrays and Pattern Recognition Methods

In this study, the ability of an electronic nose developed to analyze and monitor odor emissions from three poultry farms located in Meknes (Morocco) Berlin (Germany) was evaluated. Indeed, potentiality (e-nose) differentiate concentration fractions hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, ethanol investigated. Furthermore, impact change relative humidity values (from 15% 67%) on responses gas sensors reported revealed that effect remained less than 0.6%. relevant results confirmed e-nose system able perfectly classify odorous air farms.
