چکیده
Two-photon photopolymerization (TPP) has recently become a popular method for the fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) micro- and nanostructures. The reproduction fidelity designed nanostructures is influenced by experimental writing conditions, including laser power, exposure time, etc. To determine appropriate parameters, characterization morphological features surface roughness during experiment needed. Traditional methods TPP, e.g., scanning electron microscopy atomic force microscopy, have limited speed cannot study internal structures without invasive approaches. Optical diffraction tomography (ODT) an emerging label-free 3D imaging technique based on reconstructing object’s refractive index (RI) distribution with diffraction-limited resolution. Here, we propose non-invasive solution to fully characterize TPP-fabricated using high-speed ODT technique, which can eliminate need complex sample preparation, such as fluorescence labelling or metal-coating, achieve full measurement time 6 ms. By visualizing studying different structures, embedded spirals cubes, via system, quality, features, levels, roughness, be examined quantitatively. results suggest our effectively improve quality reproducibility generating impacts nanofabrication community.

High dynamic range cationic two-photon photopolymerization
Cationic-induced two-photon photopolymerization is demonstrated at 710 nm, using an isopropylthioxanthone / diarylidonium salt initiating system for the cationic polymerization of an epoxide. The polymerization threshold J2th is found to be approximately 1 GW/cm, with a dynamic range of > 100, i.e. the material can be fully polymerized at intensities > 100 times the threshold level without dama...

The small size of neuronal dendrites and spines combined with the high speed of neurophysiological signals, such as transients in membrane potential or ion concentration, necessitates that any functional study of these structures uses recording methods with both high spatial and high temporal resolutions. In this regard, conventional two-photon microscopy, in combination with fluorescent indica...
متن کاملCharacterization of two-dimensional colloidal polycrystalline materials using optical diffraction
We present an optical-diffraction method for quantitative characterization of two-dimensional colloidal polycrystalline materials. From the angular-diffraction profile we can estimate both the average size of the crystalline grain and the defect density within the grains. Our statistical diffraction model shows that the diffraction line shape is close to a Lorentzian profile if a lot of defects...
متن کاملHigh Speed Three-dimensional Scanner for in vivo non-invasive Optical Biopsy using Two-photon Microscopy
We have recently demonstrated the modeling, design, and microfabrication process of a millimeter-scale, high-speed endoscopic scanner that is to be integrated at the distal end of an endomicroscope [1]. The scanner system consists of (1) an active Silicon optical bench (SOB), as shown in Figure 1, which constrains, aligns, and thermally actuates (1) mm-size optics (GRIN lens and prism) at 5 Hz ...
