چکیده
Landslides are the most common geological phenomenon in Indonesia. The event is damage to public infrastructure, and fatalities was a big impact. Therefore, mapping geometry of landslides part mitigation effort possible by geophysical methods. In this research, we applied seismic refraction tomography (SRT) study sliding zone from landslide event.TheNational Disaster Management Authority reported that area frequently occurring disaster, i.e. 2018, 2019 2020 which caused infrastructure obstructed road access central west Aceh. The SRT measured two profileslong road.Data measurements were conducted on side Babahrot - GayoLues section had experienced landslides.Measurements made using Seismograph PASI 16S24-P 24 geophones obtain 92-meterlong profile with 2 meter spacing between geophones. P-wave velocity data modeling done ZondST2D software. The results profiles 1 describe three different subsurface layers. The model consists slate (0.2 0.7 km/s), clay (0.8 1.3 sandy (1.4 1.9 km/s).While, (0.5 1.0 (1.1 1.6 km/ s), (1.7 2.5 km/s).The contrasting wave shows method can be used studies as reference determining mechanism system.

Application of Seismic Refraction Tomography to Karst Cavities
For three years we have used synthetic and field data to investigate the effectiveness of commercial refraction tomography codes on both simple and complex subsurface velocity structures, with the ultimate goal of determining the suitability of the method for karst problems. The results of these studies indicate that refraction tomography is able to resolve karst features under some conditions....
متن کاملdetection of underground tunnels using electrical resistivity and refraction seismic tomography methods
geophysical techniques remain the only ways to remotely and non-destructively sense the earth’s near subsurface and as such have the most promising prospect for rapid and accurate detection of underground tunnels. today, electrical resistivity and seismic refraction geophysical methods have been greatly developed to identify structures and underground cavities. in this study, the ability of the...
متن کاملCrosshole seismic tomography with cross-firing geometry
We have developed a case study of crosshole seismic tomography with a cross-firing geometry in which seismic sources were placed in two vertical boreholes alternatingly and receiver arrays were placed in another vertical borehole. There are two crosshole seismic data sets in a conventional sense. These two data sets are used jointly in seismic tomography. Because the local sediment is dominated...
متن کاملLandslide investigation study using seismic refraction and 2D electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) technique in Ooty, Nilgiri District, Tamilnadu
The aim of this paper is to investigate landslide prone areas in Nilgiri hills which have caused damage to people and properties and to devise preventive steps to be taken in the events of future landslides. Our study area was situated at Ooty region, Nilgiri District, Tamilnadu. In this study we use the seismic refraction survey carried out across landslides located near the villages in Allanc...
