چکیده

Goat milk presents interesting characteristics to consumers, but the production of this food faces several challenges that influence its quality. Process failures from milking processing and commercialization can expose contamination by pathogenic microorganisms, including coagulase-positive Staphylococcus group. Although aureus is most relevant species in mastitis poisoning, other group are also important, especially those related poisoning. This study aimed identify goat using biochemical tests, determine prevalence antimicrobial resistance disc diffusion test, investigate enterotoxin-producing genes, sea, seb, sec, sed, see, seg, seh, sei multiplex PCR. A total 384 strains obtained raw collected nine farms Paraná during four seasons year were studied. Biochemical tests showed 85.69% S. aureus, followed 9.38% intermedius, 4.17% hyicus 0.78% delphini. For up three each identified as Staphylococci chosen farm, with a 74 strains. Of these, 27% (20/74) at least one antibiotic, among all penicillin-resistant strains, 45% (9/20) presented tetracycline. In search for staphylococcal 49 studied; them, 40.81% (20/49) genes. The highest was detected sec gene, which present 22.44% (11/49) seh gene 18.36% (9/49), see 4.08% (2/49). It concluded predominant milk, high penicillin- tetracycline-resistant significant number studied carried genes involved poisoning humans, indicating possible source and, therefore, potential danger public health.

Prevalence of enterotoxin-encoding genes and antimicrobial resistance in coagulase-negative and coagulase-positive Staphylococcus isolates from black pudding.

INTRODUCTION Staphylococcal species are pathogens that are responsible for outbreaks of foodborne diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of enterotoxin-genes and the antimicrobial resistance profile in staphylococcus coagulase-negative (CoNS) and coagulasepositive (CoPS) isolates from black pudding in southern Brazil. METHODS Two hundred typical and atypical colonie...

Detection of Classic Enterotoxin Genes and Coagulase Gene Typing of Staphylococcus Aureus Isolated from Raw Cow Milk in Isfahan

Background and Aims: Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is considered as one of the most dangerous pathogenic bacteria due to the production of extracellular toxins. The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of S. aureus and to characterize the recovered strains for their enterotoxin-producing genes in raw cow milk. Materials and Methods: During 9 months duration of the s...

The Frequency of Staphylococcus aureus Classical Enterotoxin Genes in Raw Milk Samples in Zanjan, Iran

Background: Staphylococcus aureus is one of the major causes of food poisoning. Since milk is a nutritious source of proteins and vitamins, it could provide the optimal conditions for the growth of several bacterial pathogens, such as S. aureus. The present study aimed to assess the frequency of Staphylococcus aureus classical enterotoxin genes in raw milk samples in Zanjan, Iran. Methods: In ...

Antimicrobial resistance in Staphylococcus spp

Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative Staphylococcus (CoNS) are the main agents of nosocomial infections. The antimicrobial resistance of these microorganisms has increased worldwide, justified by the selective pressure caused by the use of broad spectrum antibiotics. The prophylactic antibioticotherapy is also a concerning factor, because it increases the risk of infection, and difficul...
