چکیده

Due to frequent human disturbance and the influence of crop growth development, migration soil organic carbon (SOC) in sloping farmland is considerably different those other ecosystems. The impacts maize over its entire period on SOC loss purple soils under erosion stages were investigated, 2016. This was undertaken using rainfall simulation tests 15° slopes with a intensity 1.5 mm·min−1, Sichuan Province, China. In this study, fluctuating increasing trends surface runoff yield, interflow sediment dissolved (DOC) flux observed. Opposite observed DOC mass concentration, total (TOC) content sediment, particle state, enrichment ratio. rill stage 1.39–2.84, 3.22–7.78 times significantly higher than that sheet at each stage, respectively (p < 0.05). average concentration runoff, ratio increased by 100.58–146.44%, 44.44–126.15%, 141.32–191.26%, respectively, compared stage. Under experimental conditions, we found mainly occurred seedling mature for maize. We also could promote production interflow, leading intense occurring subsurface. Compared concentrations there an increase 4.90–28.29% indicating plays more important role loss. impact formation reducing caused erosion. study helps understand process agricultural areas.

Maize (Zea mays L.).

Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...

Effects Of Irrigation With Saline Water, And Soil Type On Germination And Seedling Growth Of Sweet Maize (Zea Mays L.)

Germination and early growth of maize Sweet Maize (Zea mays L.), var. (SEL. CONETA) under irrigation with saline water were investigated in a pot experiment with different soil types. Seven salinity levels of irrigation water up to 12 dS/m were used on a Clay soil (C) and a Sandy-Loam (SL). Emergence of maize was delayed under irrigation with saline water, and the final percentage of germinatio...

The Effects of Spent Engine Oil on Soil Properties and Growth of Maize (Zea mays L.)

The effect of spent engine oil (SEO) on soil properties and growth of maize (Zea mays L.) was investigated. Five treatments (0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 l/kg) of the spent oil were applied to soil in perforated poly bags with maize stands at four weeks after sowing. Soil analysis showed that SEO had no effect on both the pH and texture of the soil. Organic C, N and Mg in the contaminated soils i...

Phytosulphokine gene regulation during maize (Zea mays L.) reproduction.

The sulphated pentapeptide phytosulphokine (PSK) was identified as a substance that promotes cell division in low-density suspension cultures and has been implicated in various aspects of tissue differentiation in plants. The peptide is derived from PSK precursor proteins that are encoded by small gene families. The physiological roles of PSK are still not clearly defined and little is known ab...
