Channel Characterization and Performance of a 3-D Molecular Communication System With Multiple Fully-Absorbing Receivers

Molecular communication (MC) can enable the transfer of information between nanomachines using molecules as carrier. In MC systems, multiple receiver often co-exist in same channel to serve common or different purposes. However, analytical model for a system with fully absorbing receivers (FARs), which is significantly from single FAR due mutual influence FARs, does not exist literature. The essential analyzing systems including MIMO, SIMO, and cognitive molecular systems. this work, we derive an expression hitting probability molecule emitted point source on each diffusion-based $N$ FARs. Using these expressions, SIMO transmitter FARs arranged uniform circular array (UCA). We then analyze performance under cooperative detection schemes develop several interesting insights.
