چکیده
The placement of orthodontic appliances influences plaque growth and maturation. Significant differences in biofilm formation periodontal reaction between different bracket types bonded teeth compared with control have been reported, however, reported significant attachment loss during treatment. In patients a history periodontitis resulting displaced teeth, possible tooth movements include changes alignment, space redistribution, intrusion. To see the clinical parameters after removal fixed After debonding braket at dental clinic before final polishing, probing depth (PD), index (PI), gingival (GI) bleeding on (BOP) were assessed first molars central incisors both arches. Probing decreased right maxillary molar. Plaque also got deceased. Bleeding reduced significantly. Longitudinal changes in microbiology and clinical periodontal parameters after removal of fixed orthodontic appliances.
The aim of this longitudinal study was to monitor patients' microbiological and clinical parameters from bracket placement up to 3 months post-treatment. Twenty-four patients (10 males and 14 females, aged 14.6 ± 1.0 years) were included in this investigation. Microbiology (sub- and supragingival), periodontal probing depth (PPD), bleeding on probing (BOP), and gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) f...

INTRODUCTION The placement of fixed orthodontic appliances may lead to increased plaque accumulation and changes in subgingival microflora. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to examine the changes in frequency of subgingival microflora that occur after placement and removal of fixed orthodontic appliance using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). METHODS This study included 33 orthodontic pat...
متن کاملMicrobiological and clinical periodontal effects of fixed orthodontic appliances in pediatric patients.
The aim of this study was to evaluate changes of microbiota in ten patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. For each patient clinical examination of gingival index (GI) and plaque index (PI) were performed at the first molars at: baseline (T1), 2 (T2), 4 (T3) and 12 weeks (T4). At the same time subgingival plaque and tongue samples were taken for the microbiological study. Clinical results sh...
متن کاملDental enamel around fixed orthodontic appliances after fluoride varnish application.
Poor oral hygiene has been considered one of the main problems routinely faced in the orthodontic treatment. Orthodontic appliance creates an environment that provides mineral loss from the dental enamel. Such condition is clinically seen as white spot lesions and cavitations in the most severe cases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of a fluoride varnish application as a carie...
