چکیده
Implants made of ceramics, and more particularly calcium phosphates (hydroxyapatite: HA, mainly), promoting intimate contact with natural bone are nowadays merging. Addition copper ions in bio-ceramics is expected to increase the biological compatibilities graft substitutes. Previous works have shown that copper-doped hydroxyapatite (Cu-doped HA) ceramics can be prepared by solid-state sintering between HA CuO powder mixtures at about 1100 °C; but, copper-substituted was found metastable leading apatitic grains Cu-rich grain boundaries during process. Ultra-rapid so needed. Selective laser (SLS) an additive manufacturing process possesses advantage based on ultra-fast under irradiation. SLS being used literature for application polymer-ceramic or poymer-metal composites proper term all along paper Ceramic Powder Bed Laser Sintering (CPBLS). To achieve densification Cu-doped from CPBLS process, one should control composition/morphology/structure bed as well three other important parameters: (i) applied energy beam, (ii) power scanning speed, (iii) distance two successive lased lines. In this paper, impact main parameters controlling dip-coated layers glass substrates carefully investigated. Possibility creation thin consolidated ceramic patterns, using finally shown.

Synthesis of Hydroxyapatite Bio-Ceramic Powder by Hydrothermal Method
Hydroxyapatite bio-ceramic powder was synthesized using waste eggshells as calcium source by a straight forward thermal method. The process is carried out at high temperature. Different calcium phosphate phases were obtained just by changing the thermal treatment. HAp is the only apatite present in the reaction products, along with minute fractions of other calcium compounds. The final product ...
متن کاملHydroxyapatite based ceramic materials
Hydroxyapatite is the major mineral component of human bones. From the point of view of its chemistry, it is calcium orthophosphate which has in its structure hydroxyl groups and in its stoichiometric is described with formula – Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2. Biological properties of hydroxyapatite are very favorable; it is not only biocompatible (which means that after implantation it causes no side effects...

Porous blocks of calcium hydroxyapatite ceramic were evaluated as delivery systems for the sustained release of antibiotics. We tested gentamicin sulphate, cefoperazone sodium, and fiomoxef sodium in powder form placed in a cylindrical cavity in calcium hydroxyapatite blocks, using in vitro studies of elution and in vivo studies in rats. Gentamicin sulphate gave a maximum concentration within t...

Thick films of ceramic, superconducting, and electro-ceramic materials*
The use of thick films becomes more and more important in particular for electronic and microelectronic applications. The term “thick film” does not relate so much to the thickness of the film but more to the kind of deposition. Thick films are made by low-priced processes such as doctor (dr) blading, screen-printing, or spraying methods, etc. The preparation of thick films of ceramic material ...
