CD146‐targeted nuclear medicine imaging in cancer: State of the art
نویسندگان
چکیده
The transmembrane glycoprotein adhesion molecule CD146 is overexpressed in a wide variety of cancers. expression constitutes marker poor prognosis and correlates with cancer progression. Through molecular imaging, specific biomarker's distribution can be viewed vivo non-invasively. Radionuclide-labeled monoclonal antibodies or relevant fragments that target may find potential applications thereby offering tremendous value diagnosis, staging, evaluation, prediction drug resistance. This review discusses the recent developments CD146-targeted imaging via nuclear medicine, especially malignant melanoma, brain tumor, lung cancer, liver breast pancreatic cancer. Many studies have proved targeting present promising strategy for theranostics.

depicting medullary thyroid cancer recurrence: the past and the future of nuclear medicine imaging
context inherited and sporadic medullary thyroid cancer (mtc) is an uncommon and medically challenging malignancy. even if the extent of initial surgery is deemed adequate, the recurrence rate remains high, up to 50% in most series. measurement of serum calcitonin is important in the follow-up of patients with mtc, and reliably reflects the existence of the disease. evidence acquisition there i...
متن کاملThe effect of earth magnetic field on the function of nuclear medicine imaging systems (SPECT)
Background: The nuclear medicine systems are very sensitive to the variation of the magnetic field. Photomultiplier tubes amplify low energy light signal and change it into electrical current. Low magnetic field can produce some variations in uniformity and special resolution of SPECT systems. In this study, we tried to evaluate the effects of magnetic field on the function of nuclear medic...
