Causes and Treatment of Feline Dystocia

ABSTRACTThe objective of present study was to describe retrospective data which including causes and whether medical surgical management suitable for feline dystocia. The includes a total 41 clinical cases brought by the owners Teaching Hospital related College Veterinary Medicine/the University Mosul some Clinic centers distributed in city/Iraq during period between 2018 until 2021. Data were analysed aacording orginal treatment protocols done. this revealed that maternal origin with different types dystocia major percentage, it reaches up 66%, 75%, 80%, 62.5% 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 respectively. foetal percentages 33%, 25%, 20%, 31.25% also reveled percentage cats 2018-2021 17.07 % hormonal 82.22% Caseran Section operation. Results conclude best methods tretrating Dystocia cat caseran section. auther advised use estrogen Oxytocin hormones Ca++ Treating non-obestracting or instead using oxytocin alone described another papers.
