Cation-selective layered silicon oxide membranes for power generation

چکیده

Abstract Inorganic two-dimensional membranes offer a new approach to modulating mass transport at the nanoscale. These membranes, which can harness van der Waals gap as nanochannel and address persistent challenges in organic are limited few material libraries, such graphene, graphene oxide, molybdenum disulfide, boron nitride. Here we report for first time development of cation-selective layered silicon oxide nanochannels, specifically gap, allow cation diffusion flux generate an electromotive force long time. Considering abundance well-known properties this inorganic membrane provide promising route separation variety applications.
