Catalytic Oxidative Desulfurization of Dibenzothiophene by Composites Based Ni/Al-Oxide

In the present study, composite layer double hydroxide-metal oxide (Ni/Al-TiO2 and Ni/Al-ZnO) was successfully prepared used as catalyst of oxidative desulfurization dibenzothiophene. Characterization XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDS. The structure Ni/Al-LDH, TiO2, ZnO in Ni/Al-TiO2 Ni/Al-ZnO consistent, which also indicated that preparation did not change form precursors. FTIR spectra absorption band at 3398, 1639, 1339, 832, 731, 682 cm?1. catalysts have an irregular structure, TiO2 adhere to surface Ni/Al LDH. percent mass Ti Zn on 29.3% 18.2%, respectively. acidity LDH increased after being composited with ZnO. optimum reaction time, dosage catalyst, temperature were 30 min, 0.25 g, 50°C, respectively, n-hexane a solvent. percentage conversion dibenzothiophene ZnO, Ni/Al-TiO2, 99.44%, 91.92%, 95.36%, 99.88%, 99.90%, are heterogeneous system advantage is can be for reusability. After 3 times catalytic reactions, still retains more than 80%, even composites 97.79% 98.99%,
