چکیده
Lignin depolymerization often requires multiple isolation steps to convert a lignocellulose matrix into high-value chemicals. In addition, lignin structural modification, low yields, and poor product characteristics remain challenges. Direct catalytic of from date palm biomass was investigated. Production high value chemicals heavily depends on optimization different parameters method conversion. The goal the study elucidate role direct conversion waste in bench reactor, targeting valuable C5–C12 compounds. performance results demonstrated better liquid yields using commercial alloy catalyst than with laboratory-prepared transition metal phosphide catalysts made nickel, cobalt, iron. According gas chromatography-mass spectrometry results, C7–C8 compounds were largest fraction. yield improved 3.6% without 68.0% catalyst. total lower (16.0%) (76.0%). There substantial differences between carbon distributions catalyst, supported catalyst-free processes. This may be due reaction pathways. Development of red date palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier) was evaluated on 4 popular cultivars of date palm, viz., ‘Khalas’, ‘Sukkary’, ‘Khasab’, and ‘Sillaj’ for 2 consecutive generations. The weevils reared on ‘Sukkary’ showed significantly better growth expressed in most parameters such as length, width and weight at larval, pupal and adult stages. Significantly greater numbers...

Background: In Algeria, date palm is currently confronted to the Bayoud disease. Biotechnological tools such as protoplasts fusion can appear as an alternative to ensure rapid multiplication and improvement of this species. Objectives: Callogenesis induction in protoplasts isolated from embryogenic callus of three date palm cultivars. Materials and Methods: Some factors influencing the isolatio...
