Background: Varicose veins are considered a chronic venous disease. Delaying treatment might cause several late complications that contribute to high burden on healthcare systems. It may be treated with endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) and stab avulsion as additional procedures. direct has been promoted replace in certain conditions. The purpose of this report is describe detailed procedure the first successful varicose Utoh’s technique using EVLA without any surgical incision 71-year-old female presenting vein. Case report: A came outpatient clinic large bulging vein her leg. Duplex ultrasound showed great saphenous (GSV) was incompetent medial part proximal GSV below knee. patient underwent technique. sonography evaluation right utterly obliterated, including vein. discharged two days after significant complaints nor pain medication. Conclusions: Direct proposed better alternative than avulsion. can managed scalpel, incision, avulsion, or phlebectomy. In case presentation, endovascular therapeutical approach promising results, no complication found patient.
