Myositis Ossificans [MO], a florid ossification, may occur in muscles and soft tissue. It is also called by many different names. The lesion contains actively proliferating fibroblasts osteoblasts early its development be confused with malignant tumor. commonly affects vigorous young men more so among athletes. Most often involved are the flexor of arm quadriceps femoris. By time presentation, ossification extensive benign nature usually evident on radiological studies. While literature shows that MO Is common arm, hamstrings femoris, it noted other around knee joint can affected as demonstrated case presented here.
