چکیده
Abstract Background The coexisting of transposition the great arteries (TGA) with total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC) is one rare anomalies. incidence TAPVC and TGA unknown very few cases ever reported. Case presentation We reported a case 13-month-old female toddler history cyanosis. Echocardiography revealed atrioventricular ambiguity atresia, all PVs drain into innominate vein via vertical (VV), ostium secundum atrial septal defect (ASD) ventricular (VSD) were observed. CT scan confirmed co-occurrence TAPVC. All four confluence behind small left atrium (LA), drains an ascending lateral large VV, coursing to without any PV access LA. superior vena cava, right ventricle (RV) dilated. RV origin aortic root. aorta continues on side, arterial aberrant artery at level arch. Main originates from LV appears atretic only artery. Large ASD VSD identified. Conclusions are combination should be suspected in mild-cyanotic levocardia situs solitus. angiography modalities choice characterize vasculature

Computed tomography features of supracardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous connection in an infant
Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC) is a rare congenital anomaly of the pulmonary veins drainage. In this entity, the pulmonary veins, instead of draining to left atrium, connect abnormally to the systemic venous circulation. A right-to-left shunt is obligatory for survival. Based on its type and degree of pulmonary venous obstruction, TAPVC may result in pulmonary hypertension ...
متن کامل[Echocardiographic diagnosis of transposition of the great arteries associated with anomalous pulmonary venous connection].
We report 2 cases of transposition of the great arteries associated with anomalous pulmonary venous connection emphasizing the clinical findings, the diagnosis, and the evolution of the association. One of the patients had the anomalous pulmonary venous connection in its total infradiaphragmatic form, in the portal system, and the other patient had a partial form, in which an anomalous connecti...
متن کاملA 33-day-old Infant with the Transposition of the Great Arteries; A Rare Case Report
Dextro-transposition of the great arteries (d-TGA) is the one most common cyanotic congenital heart disease in neonates. The discordant ventriculoarterial arrangement results in parallel circulation, it so is vital to understand the management. We report a rare interesting but critical case of 33-day-old boy who developed cyanosis and had transposition of great arteries combined with interrupte...
متن کاملCongenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries associated with partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection in a quinquagenarian with dextrocardia.
A 51-year old woman was treated for atrial fibrillation. A chest X-ray showed dextrocardia. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries. Multidetector64 computerized tomography scan imaging confirmed the diagnosis (Fig. 1) and, additionally, showed a persistent left superior vena cava and a partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection (F...
متن کاملTotal Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection
Experience with 75 cases of proven total anomalous pulmonary venous connection without other significant cardiac malformations treated at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston from January 1950 to June 1968 forms the basis of this report. Clinical observations of patients with this defect presenting in infancy are reviewed in depth, and the few patients presenting after 1 year of age...
