Career Adaptability, Hope, and Life Satisfaction: an Analysis of Adults with and Without Substance Use Disorder

Abstract Considering that adults with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) experience many barriers and challenges in designing living a satisfactory life, based on Life Design paradigm, this study aimed at analyzing the direct indirect effect of career adaptability, through hope, life satisfaction sample individuals SUD compared to without SUD. In study, 185 was involved different measures assess adaptability ( Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Italian Form ; Soresi, Nota, & Ferrari; 2012), hope The Adult Hope Scale ) Satisfaction Scale) were used. Multigroup structural analyses conducted test group differences effects model hypothesized. Results showed is indirectly, related across two groups.
