SUMMARY Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 is part of the Cononaviridae family and causative agent 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic declared by World Health Organization in March, 2020. This virus has a high rate transmission, affecting several individuals, caused thousands deaths. The clinical manifestations infection are not restricted only to respiratory tract, there an express involvement cardiovascular system with higher risk death this group. In such patients overactivation renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, which promotes increase expression angiotensin-converting enzyme – that acts as receptor for SPIKE protein expressed enables interaction between host cell 2. process causes hyperinflammatory state increases inflammatory markers cardiac injury.
