Abstract Anorexia nervosa (AN) as a life-threatening eating disorder is linked to high mortality risk with many deaths attributable cardiovascular etiology. Cardiovascular complications in AN include structural well functional cardiac alterations, hemodynamic changes, and peripheral vascular abnormalities.
