Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome as a cause of recurrent vomiting in type 1 diabetes

Abdominal pain and vomiting are common presentations to the emergency medical ward. Management of recurrent abdominal can be difficult, especially in patients who have diabetes. People with diabetes present that cause a diagnostic dilemma. Are symptoms due an acute or chronic complication their other causes? In also use cannabis, further challenges arise as diabetic gastroparesis cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) similar ways. We case series four type 1 had multiple admissions mimicking gastroparesis, all whom were eventually diagnosed CHS. Copyright © 2021 John Wiley & Sons.
